Enjoying the weather? Apparently, it's the most snow we've had for six years, or something like that.

Fortunately for me, I've been off work the last three days (there are occasional joys to working shifts) and haven't had the hassle of getting to work (that comes tomorrow) and back.

Due to the weather, we haven't been in the practice room yet this week and it's looking like being next before we get 

So what have we been up to?

Well personally, I had enough after the snow after one day out and about doing my errands. I fell on my arse at least once and it was bloody freezing!

So I've been in doing things I've been meaning to do for ages like fixing the bathroom light and door. Not very rock n roll!

More importantly, I've been playing my new Hank Marvin Custom Fender Strat! It's a lovely shade of peach, which I'm going to call Orange. I'm not a big fan of strats, but it's a lot better to play than my SG. I've been trying to find some new sounds on my effects pedal that suit the guitar and it's sounding pretty good!

I've also been doing some work on the website, not that you'd've noticed because it's all behind the scenes stuff. You'll see the benefit when I let you into the login area.

A rather belated Happy New Year to you from Aquaplane!

I'm not one for new years resolutions, but this year we're hoping to bring more music, more gigs and more fun to you during what looks like it's going to be a difficult year for all while we endure the wonders of the credit crunch.

This year I'm really going to be looking at getting this website up to speed and interaction with you is where it's at.

I'm hoping to get your comments on everything we do and make sure that we're heading in the right direction musically and on the web.

So, to keep it short and sweet, hope you've had a great Xmas/New Year's break and are ready for the New Year. Make it a good one and I hope good things come to you in 2009!
